Battery disposal

Note on battery disposal:

Batteries contain valuable raw materials that are harmful to the environment but can be recycled. Used batteries must therefore not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must be disposed of separately. Retailers are legally obliged to take back old batteries, consumers are obliged to take old batteries to a suitable collection point. Batteries that must be disposed of can be recognised by the crossed-out wheelie bin printed on the packaging. The chemical name of the harmful substance contained in the battery can be found under the wheelie bin symbol:

Pb = lead

Cd= Cadmium

Hg = Mercury

You can return the batteries purchased from us to us for proper disposal.
