General terms and conditions (GTC) - re-it.shop

1. Scope

The purchase of your used hardware (RAM modules and processors) included in our selection menu and the contractual relationship between you and us, CPU Remarketing GmbH, are governed exclusively by these general terms and conditions of business (= GTC).

We do not recognise any GTC of the contractual partner that contradict or deviate from our GTC unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

 

2. Contracting partner, Contract conclusion, Purchase procedure

2.1 Contracting partner

The purchase contract is concluded between you as the seller and CPU-Remarketing GmbH as the buyer.

 

2.2 Procedure of selling your hardware to CPU-Remarketing GmbH

You would like to sell your used hardware to us.

To do this, you must specify your hardware in our selection menu on our platform and provide correct and truthful information about your hardware (aot: manufacturer, model, version, age, condition).

In order to process the purchase, we need your first name, last name and address as well as your bank details for payment of the agreed purchase price or, if you have selected the PayPal payout option, your PayPal e-mail address.

The dates must be provided completely and correctly. If your dates change, you are obliged to update your details immediately.

We only buy hardware components that are listed in our product catalogue.

If your hardware is not listed in our selection menu, you can write us an e-mail at info@re-it.shop and provide information about your components.

 

2.3 „Preliminary purchase value“ as „minimum purchase price“

Based on your correct information, a preliminary value we will buy your hardware for will be calculated and displayed. The preliminary purchase value displayed is the minimum purchase price at which you wish to sell your components to us and is valid for 14 days.

 

2.4 Your offer to us

If you agree to the preliminary purchase value, confirm this by clicking "In the shipping box".

Your offer is legally binding. You are bound by this.

You will receive a free shipping label from us as soon as you reach a certain minimum amount in the preliminary purchase value. You must print out this free shipping label and send it to us together with the hardware components you want to sell to us at your own risk and within 14 days.

The minimum amount depends on the country from which you want to send your hardware to us:

Germany: Euro 50,00
Austria: Euro 100,00
Countries belonging to the European Union (EU) (except Austria): Euro 200.00

Upon receipt of your hardware, you submit a binding offer to us for the purchase of your components at the preliminary purchase value as the minimum purchase price.

 

2.5 Checking your hardware components and determining their value

We will check your hardware when we receive it. This concerns the actual condition, functionality and comparison with the data provided by you. Based on our inspection, we will determine the value of your hardware.

 

2.6 Acceptance of your offer

We are not obliged to accept your offer.

 

2.6.1 Determination of value corresponds to "minimum purchase price"

If our value determination matches the preliminary purchase value as the minimum purchase price, we will accept your offer of selling your hardware to us. We will inform you about this by e-mail and fulfill the payout to your bank account or via PayPal.

 

2.6.2 Determination of value is higher than the „minimum purchase price“

If our valuation results in a higher price than the preliminary purchase value as the minimum purchase price, we will accept your offer of selling your hardware to us at the higher value determined by us. We will inform you of this by e-mail and fulfill the payout by transfer to your bank account or via PayPal.

 

2.6.3 Determination of value lower than minimum purchase price – „counteroffer“

If your valuation of your hardware results in a lower price than the preliminary purchase value as the minimum purchase price, we will decline your offer.

Upon declining your offer, we will return your hardware to you or send you a counteroffer by e-mail, statibng at which price we would purchase your component (counteroffer). This counteroffer is valid for 14 days from the date the e-mail is sent to you.

If you do not accept our counteroffer within 14 days or decline our counteroffer, we will return your hardware to you.

 

3. Several components

You can also offer us several hardware components, which you can send to us in one shipment. A specific contract of sale is concluded for each component.

 

4. Shipping conditions– Transport risk – Transport damage

4.1 Free shipping

From a minimum value of Euro 50.00 for hardware sold to us from Germany, Euro 100.00 for hardware from Austria and Euro 200.00 for hardware from countries of the European Union, shipping is free of charge for you when using our shipping label.

 

4.2 Shipping with costs

If the minimum value is less than Euro 50.00 for hardware sold to us from Germany, Euro 100.00 for hardware from Austria and Euro 200.00 for hardware from countries of the European Union (EU), the shipment is made to us at your expense.

 

4.3 Packing

You are obliged to pack the hardware carefully so that the components are protected against damage during shipping, so against breakage, falling down and the like. Make sure that the packaging is sturdy and that the goods are insulated, for example with bubble wrap.

 

4.4 Shipping conditions– Transport risk – Transport damage

The shipment of your hardware to us is at your risk. This applies to the loss of your components as well as to damage caused during transport.

 

5. Payout

If we accept your offer, we will arrange payout to you within 24 hours after positive testing of your hardware. Either to the bank account you have given us or to your PayPal email address.

If you should decide to pay out by transfer to your bank account, the risk of an incorrect transfer due to incorrect bank details is yours. Depending on the bank and country, payouts are credited to your bank account after 2 to 7 working days after we have instructed you to do so. In the event of a transfer abroad, you will be responsible for any costs incurred. Please inquire your bank about the costs of your specific transfer request.

If you decide to pay out to your PayPal account, the risk of an incorrect transfer due to incorrect information about your PayPal account is yours.

 

6. Special obligations of the seller / warranties

6.1 Ownership - Third Party Rights

By submitting your offer to us, you warrant that you are the legal owner of the hardware components offered to us and that you may sell the components and provide us with ownership.


You also assure that the hardware is free of third party rights.

  

7. Contract language, storage of contract text

The language available for the conclusion of the contract is German for customers from Germany and Austria and English for customers from other countries of the EU.

We will save your offer and send you the offer data and our GTC in text form. In addition, you can access the purchase process at any time via your customer account on our platform.

 

8. other terms

8.1 Written form

Changes or additions to these GTC must be made in written form.



8.2 Choice of law, place of jurisdiction

German law shall apply to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods with the exception of mandatory standards of the state in which you have your habitual residence at the time of conclusion of the contract.

For all disputes arising/existing in connection with the sale of hardware components to us, the place of jurisdiction is agreed to be 53534 Hoffeld, Germany unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory law.



8.3 Dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS), which you can find at
https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home2.show.
We are not obliged or willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
